In this section, I have included samples of news writing and journalistic writing. The first two sections include shorter pieces meant for printed newspapers or online news sites. The latter section, "essay writing," includes a longer piece that may best suit magazine publication. When it comes to journalism and news reporting, I enjoy writing about a multitude of topics. However, I do find myself gravitating mostly towards politics, environmental issues, and social justice.
