This was written for my Writing for Environmental Advocacy class. The assignment was to explain and evaluate the rhetoric of an example of environmental discourse. I chose to write about The Lorax because I felt that texts meant for children are often overlooked when analyzing cultural discourse; even though those texts are an integral part of shaping culture and attitudes.
