Before writing came into the picture, I wanted to be a musician. What drew me most to music was the way strong, complicated emotions can be conveyed meaningfully through lyrics. When I wrote songs, I always wanted the focal point to be the lyrics. Writing lyrics soon transitioned into writing poetry. I have written hundreds of poems, but here I have included just some of my favorites.
